We believe that life’s joy comes from meaningful experiences—whether it’s exploring new places, connecting with nature, or savoring unique flavors. These moments not only bring happiness but also help us feel more connected to the world and the people around us.
This joy often begins with a spark of inspiration, like discovering new ideas on social media. We capture these moments as wish lists, plan with friends, and turn those dreams into reality. Along the way, the journeys we take become stories to share with the people we care about. At Bestinhere, our goal is to help you explore, connect, and share these meaningful experiences with ease.
How we got here
The idea for Bestinhere began in 2015, when food reviews were everywhere but scattered across different platforms. It was hard to sift through endless opinions to find what really mattered. This got us thinking:
What if we could share place recommendations that highlight the best parts?
What if travel plans could be built from insights shared by people with similar preferences?
These questions inspired a post format where recommendations from trusted networks are pinned to locations. We built the first version of Bestinhere and tested it with 60 places for a trip to Mumbai. While it proved useful, limited web infrastructure and early feedback made us pause. Now, with the problem still unsolved and better technology in place, we’re ready to bring our vision to life.

Bestinhere today
With the launch of our beta, we’re excited to introduce features that make it easy to start your journey with Bestinhere. You can sign up, register using an invite code, and set up a personalized profile with a unique username. Share your favorite recommendations in the "Best X in Y" format. These recommendations stay pinned to their locations, making it easier for your network to discover them. You can also save places and posts to your wishlists.
Where we’re going
Our MVP will allow tagging of various experiences and recommendations to specific locations, enabling users to filter content and create personalized lists.
Soon, we’ll launch the Plans feature to help you organize trips with friends and family. We’re also excited to introduce Bestie, our AI agent, designed to help you find recommendations, plan, and book with ease.
Using your travel preferences, along with machine learning and AI, our tools will provide tailored options. Future innovations include seamless interactions with businesses, aided by voice assistants and AI translators for easy communication.
